About the Founder

 

For the past 30 years, Mark has devoted his time and energy to helping senior executives improve business results by changing the way they lead and shape organizational culture. Through Mark’s unique style of teaching and coaching, many executives have gained a deeper understanding of the impact that their behaviors have on relationships, organizational culture, and performance results. His work has had a positive effect on the leadership and performance of many of the world’s most successful companies and institutions. Before establishing LeadQuest, Mark spent 15 years in a variety of leadership roles at AT&T when it was the Bell System.

Among his credentials, Mark published his first book entitled The Change Agent in 2006 and published his second book, Accountability NOW! Living the Ten Principles of Personal Leadership, in 2010. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Organization Development from the American University in Washington, D.C., and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Towson University in Maryland. He has earned several certificates in the field of Continuous Quality Improvement and the science of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Mark has been a guest lecturer on issues of leadership and organizational culture change at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, Loyola University in Chicago, the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, and the Perdue School of Management in Maryland to name a handful. Additionally, he has served on a number of boards including that of The Wellness Community, a non-profit support center for cancer patients and survivors.

Mark currently splits his time between Vail, Colorado and Phoenix, Arizona with his wife, Cheryl.
